From my window, the garden looked different. Plants and flowers were moving, like water, and fireflies were dancing in the shadows.
I knew that the creature was invisibly connected to this visual symphony. The Guardian of the garden sat for a while, withdrawn, as grasshoppers and crickets sang all night. In the morning he gathered the garden like a thief and his plunder, and disappeared with it in a deep red sky. AM
